Summer 2024: Honeybee Inspired Hydrant

Round 4: 20’s/30’s Cartoon and Film Inspired Hydrant

Inspired by my love for old cartoons and movies, this hydrant’s design has some original characters of mine in a 30’s cartoon style incorporating basic shapes and lots of simple easy to read designs. The achromatic color scheme is inspired by televisions origins of black and white TV plus the addition of mint green for a pop of color. It is located on Jubilee street right in front of the Switchback Pizza Co., only a couple blocks down from the historic Emmaus Theater.
